Federal Government Women in Finance and Economics Scholarships
AccountantsIQ is proud to provide Gear Up Individual Tuition to women preparing for the ASIC Financial Adviser exam, as part of the Financial Advisers Association of Australia (FAAA) Women in Finance and Economics Scholarship, with support from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:
- Must identify as a woman
- New student
- Able to demonstrate financial need
- Intending to upskill or refresh skills in finance and economics to help enter, re-enter, and achieve leadership roles in the financial services industry
Each applicant will be considered on their ability to demonstrate one or intersecting sources of disadvantage (via a written statement), including but not limited to:
- Are re-entering the workforce
- Have low socio-economic status
- Are mature age (50 years of age plus) or young (between 16 and 35 years old)
- Are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
- Are new migrants
- Are living in rural and remote areas

Value
The total value of the scholarship per recipient is $4950 + GST ie the total cost of the Cram 4 Exam Gear Up course.
